Direct-operated pressure regulators featuring heavy-duty cast iron bodies and built-in internal strainers are well-suited for a broad range of low-to-moderate flow applications. Typical uses include small heaters, humidifiers, hospital equipment, tire molds, and various other general-purpose systems. These regulators are designed for simplicity, eliminating the need for an external sensing line. Pressure settings are adjusted by turning an adjustment screw with a lock nut, which alters the spring force applied to the diaphragm. Multiple spring ranges are offered to maintain the desired downstream pressure effectively.
