Direct-operated pressure regulators constructed with heavy-duty cast iron bodies and integrated internal strainers are ideal for a variety of low-to-moderate flow applications. Typical uses include small heaters, humidifiers, hospital equipment, tire molds, and many other general-purpose systems. These regulators operate without the need for an external sensing line, simplifying installation. The set pressure is adjusted by turning an adjustment screw with a lock nut, which modifies the spring force acting on the diaphragm. A selection of spring ranges is available to accommodate different downstream pressure requirements.
