  At Nassau National Cable, our culture grows stronger because of people like Raul Florez, who keeps operations running smoothly as part of our HR team in Medellin, Colombia.

   

  

  Part Office Operations, Part Problem-Solver

  Raul is known for making problems disappear before anyone even notices them.
  “I always joke that I'm part office operations, part problem-solver,” he says. Whether it’s helping someone sort out a workspace issue or answering a question about PTO, Raul is the one people turn to.

  What motivates him is knowing that when people don't have to worry about the little things, they can focus on the work that really matters.
  “The best moments are when I can solve something quickly and get people back to their day, or better yet, solve it before it becomes a problem at all.”

  Thriving in Medellin's Collaborative Culture

  Raul enjoys being part of our Medellin office, where the energy is creative and supportive.
  “The flexibility we have, the young and creative team I get to work with, and the way NNC operates make it a really enjoyable place to be,” he explains.

  While the company is full of incredible people across all locations, there is something special about the Medellin team. It’s a collaborative environment where everyone gets along and supports one another. It’s the kind of place where people genuinely want to be.

  A Solid Foundation in HR

  Before joining NNC, Raul worked in recruiting and HR roles across different companies. This experience helped him build a strong foundation in people management and workplace operations.

  Life Outside of Work

  Outside of work, Raul values connection in all forms. He enjoys exploring new restaurants and bars around Medellin with his partner, relaxing at home with their pets — dog Luna and cat Neko — or spending time with friends.
