You can use 125 feet of 2-2-2-4 mobile home feeder cable to install a 50-amp RV plug! The cable’s ampacity (it’s rated for 100 amps) is more than enough to handle the 50 amps your RV plug needs, so you're good on that front.
However, one thing to keep in mind is the distance—at 125 feet, aluminum wires can experience a bit of voltage drop. For most setups, it’s best to keep the drop under 3% to avoid any issues, especially with sensitive RV electronics. To help with this, make sure the connections are solid and consider using fewer high-power.
