The FiberManager system premises splice cabinet (PSC) is designed to manage splicing between optical fiber cables located in customer premises sites, small central offices, huts and CATV headends, or in exterior locations such as outside plant cabinets or pedestals. The PSC is space-efficient, easy to install and can be wall-mounted or installed in a unistrut or 23-in frame.

Splice cassettes accommodate fusion, QNC, heat-shrink fusion, mass fusion and mechanical splices. The splice cassette is designed to maintain a minimum fiber bend radius of 1.5 in (380 mm) throughout. Slack fiber and tubing is stored inside each module so that any module can be removed from the cabinet for splicing or maintenance without disturbing the others. The internal guides are carefully engineered to provide fiber management of the bend radius throughout the cabinet, ensuring a simple and secure installation without congestion.

Each PSC accommodates up to six cables and six splice cassettes for up to 144 fiber splices in a rugged, waterresistant cabinet that is designed for easy access and reentry. Splice cassettes and watertight connectors are ordered separately. Fibers are organized and protected in FiberManager system splice cassettes that permit ready identification and access to all splices.
