Applications:

Wire Armored Type SP-OS, Type ITC/PLTC Armored Thermocouple Extension Cable is used as an instrumental and control cable in ITC 150 V circuits and power-limited circuits of classes 2 and 3. The cable' shielding performs well when there is a risk of extreme electromagnetic interference. The operating temperature of the cable is 105°C, while the minimum temperature is -40 °C. The electrical cable is approved for direct burial, cable trays, and raceways when supported by a messenger wire. The cable is resistant to the impact of sunlight and oil and has excellent resistance to cut-throughs.

Construction:

Conductor: 

The conductor is a solid alloy per ANSI MC 96.1. The communication drain wire is solid bare copper with flame-retardant Okoseal insulation. The pairs are assembled with left-hand lay, and flame-retardant fillers are placed.

Insulation:

Okoseal® (PVC) insulation is flame-retardant.

Jacket:

Jacket branded as Okoseal®. The jacket is flame-retardant and has a ripcord.

Armor:

Steel armor with at least 90 percent coverage.

Shielding:

The overall shielding is full-coverage aluminum-polyester tape and a 7- coated copper drain wire that reflects the size of the conductor.
