About :

The 2" refers to the nominal interior diameter of the tubing. Typically made from galvanized steel, offering good protection against corrosion. EMT has a thinner wall than RIGID conduit, which makes it lighter and easier to handle. It is not flexible, but it is easier to bend than RIGID conduit, making it suitable for certain installations. Offers physical protection to wires against impact but is not watertight. Similar to EMT, the 2" size refers to the interior diameter. Usually made of heavier gauge steel compared to EMT. RIGID conduit has a thicker wall, offering more protection but also increasing weight. It is rigid and cannot be bent easily; requires special machinery or techniques to bend. Provides better physical protection, and is often used where a watertight conduit system is required.
