Southwire’s triplex Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 AlumaFlex is primarily used for secondary distribution and underground service at 600 volts or less, either directly burial or in ducts, where increased flexibility is needed. May also be used in conduit as specified by the NEC.

Also Known As:

600VUD, Triplex cable, High voltage cable, Power distribution cable, Aluminum conductor cable, Underground cable.

Standards:

• ASTM B800 8000 Series Aluminum Alloy Wire
• UL 44 Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables

• These cables are capable of operating continuously at the conductor temperature not in excess of 90°C for normal operation in wet and dry locations, 130°C for emergency overload, and 250°C for short circuit conditions

Construction:

• Conductor: Conductors are stranded, compressed Triple E per ASTM 800 and 801
