Construction:
Conductor:
Stranded tinned copper conductor cabled consecutively with an optional binder tape.
Insulation:
Extruded irradiation cross-linked polyalkene with irradiated Kynar® insulation jacket (single conductors per MIL-W-81044/12). The insulation has resistance to cuts, abrasion, and chemicals. Compared to other common types of insulation, it has low-smoke characteristics. The insulation is commonly used for challenging applications like ships and the military.
Jacket:
A cross-linked polyolefin low-smoke zero-halogen jacket with a surface marking. It has excellent fire and UV resistance. The jacket has excellent ecological properties and is generally non-toxic in the event of a fire.
Shield:
The cable has an overall braided tinned copper shield with an optional binder tape.
