Applications:

Type N (T/N) electrical cables are designed for use on commercial marine vessels. The cables may be used on workboats, tugs, fishing boats, casino boats, and other commercial vessels, in addition to certain oil rig applications. These electrical cables should be used to distribute power throughout the system and may be used in lighting, communication, control, and electronic circuits as desired. It is suitable for installation in trays, troughs, channels, conduits, 90°C applications.

Conductors of stranded Soft Drawn Bare Copper are either tinned or coated with alloy. The stranding is Class B. The conductors are grouped with the help of non-hygroscopic fillers that create a cross-section. 

Insulation:

Thermoplastic nylon insulation is resistant to abrasion and impact. Additionally, it has excellent tensile strength. 

Jacket:

A thermoplastic PVC jacket that fits A11 requirements. A black PVC outer jacket can be added for extra protection. The jacket protects the cable from the mechanical impact and the effects of corrosion, abrasion, and weather.
