Applications:

The mv105 or mv90 copper cable is an electrical wire used for power circuits up to 5,000 Volts when fixed in open air, conduit, or duct; in applications such as chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, industrial plants, commercial buildings, utility substations, and generating stations. The National Electric Code accepts this electrical cable for uses within 90°C for continuous operation, 130°C for emergency overload conditions, and 250°C for short circuit conditions.

Construction

Conductors:

The conductor is made of copper, it is Class B stranding per ASTM B-8 (compressed), or ASTM B-496 (compact), with a semi-conducting conductor shield.

Insulation:

A strong and enduring ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) is used as the insulation system. The good thing about this insulation is how friendly it is to human hands since it is a rubber, a material that tends to be soft but guarantees profound and reliable safety wires. This insulation is also environmentally friendly, it doesn’t have some toxics which can cause harm to human, animals, and plants health.

Jacket:

Reinforced insulation is provided by a jacket, which is tough and versatile material that guarantees entire wire security from any external destruction. The jacket is made of chlorosulfonated polyethylene. This material is versatile enough to rebuff sunlight effects and flames. CSPE/Hypalon is made and designed according to the provisions of ICEA standards.
