Some commercial and industrial applications require tough cables. This is where the Siamese coax cable comes in handy. It has a temperature rating of -200C and 600C in both wet and dry environments respectively. The cable is designed to resist large amounts of heat with minimal failure. It can be used in outdoors for direct burial.

Construction

It has two copper conductors which are annealed. Annealing ensures that the copper conductor is soft and flexible, hence increased flex life of the cable. The cable also has insulators which prevent direct contact with the live wire. The insulation is resistant to heat, weather, chemicals, acids, corrosion and sunlight. Acting as an added reinforcement to the insulator is the cable jacket and it is also resistant to harsh environmental factors.
