Category 5E is constructed using a solid copper conductor, which is stronger and stable whenever applied in a system. This copper is annealed to improve its flexibility. It comes in 4-pair, with a gauge size of about 24 AWG.

Shield:

Copper Clad Aluminum and rated at 350 MHz. This clad acts as the shield, protecting data being transmitted from any corruptions. It also creates a conducive platform for efficient and fast dissemination of data in communication.
