A thermocouple wire is an element of the thermocouple device that is used to measure temperature in industrial conditions. It consists of two different wires market as + and -. One is used to measure the temperature, while the other is kept at a low temperature for balance. Thermocouple devices are used across industries, including food plants, car manufacturing, oil refineries, nuclear plants, and many others.
Depending on the thermocouple device's conditions, there are different types of thermocouple wires. Popular types are Type K, Type J, and Type T thermocouple. Thermocouple extension cables are cheaper variations of these cables used only for extending the probe. These cables are named KX, JX, TX.
