4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0 Aluminum Mobile Home Feeder Cable is a 200-amp, 600V-rated service entrance cable designed to carry power from a utility meter base to the main distribution panel in a mobile or manufactured home. It is also suitable as a high-capacity feeder to subpanels in modular buildings, large homes, multi-unit residential structures, garages, and light commercial buildings.

Approved for direct burial when marked USE-2, the cable may also be installed in conduit, ducts, or raceways in both wet and dry locations. Its cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation provides excellent resistance to moisture, abrasion, chemicals, and environmental exposure—making it ideal for outdoor and underground installations.

In size 4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0, the cable is used to deliver 200 amps of power to subpanels supporting HVAC systems, high-demand appliances, lighting, and general-purpose circuits.

Construction

Conductors:

The 4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0 cable includes three 4/0 AWG aluminum conductors (two phase and one neutral) and one 2/0 AWG aluminum ground. All conductors are compact stranded, soft-drawn 8000 series aluminum in accordance with ASTM B-800 or B-801.

Insulation:

It has cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation. The conductors are normally cabled together with XLP insulated aluminum ground or bare copper ground and covered with reinforced binder tape. XLP insulation is tough and resistant to impact, abrasion, chemicals, acids, oils, industrial solvents, and changes in weather.
