4/0-4/0-2/0-4 Aluminum Mobile Home Feeder Cable is a 200-amp, 600V-rated service entrance cable designed to supply power from a utility meter base to the main distribution panel in a mobile or manufactured home. It is also suitable as a high-capacity feeder cable for subpanels in modular buildings, large residential units, detached garages, shops, and light commercial installations.

This cable is approved for direct burial when marked USE-2 and may also be installed in conduits, ducts, or raceways in wet or dry locations. Its cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation provides excellent durability and resistance to moisture, abrasion, and chemicals, making it ideal for underground and outdoor use.

Construction

Conductors:

The 4/0-4/0-2/0-4 cable includes two 4/0 AWG phase conductors, one 2/0 AWG neutral, and one 4 AWG ground. All conductors are compact stranded 8000 series aluminum per ASTM B-800/B-801.

Insulation:

It has cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation. The conductors are normally cabled together with XLP-insulated aluminum ground or bare copper ground and covered with reinforced binder tape. XLP insulation is tough and resistant to impact, abrasion, chemicals, acids, oils, industrial solvents, and changes in weather.
