Construction:
Conductor:
A copper conductor per ASTM B8 is nickel-coated and has Class B or Class C stranding. Nickel coating improves the corrosion resistance of the cable and increases its industrial potential.
Insulation:
An extruded silicone rubber insulation with a glass or braid covering. The insulation is flexible, hydrophobic, and has high tensile strength. It is resistant to ozone, UV, most industrial chemicals, and oils. It is color-coded per method 4.
Jacket:
An orange silicon rubber jacket with properties identical to those of an insulation.
