Applications:

Type N (T/N)/ DNI / DNIA electrical cables are designed to be used at commercial marine vessels. The wires may be used on workboats, tugs, fishing boats, casino boats, and other commercial vessels, in addition to specific oil rig applications. They are primarily used to distribute power in lighting, communication, and control systems. They can be used in electronic circuits without much restriction. In addition, DNI / DNIA electrical cables are suitable for installation in trays, troughs, channels, conduits, and wireways. DNI/ DNIA pass the IEEE-383 and IEEE Standard 1202 flammability test.

Conductors of stranded soft annealed copper are either tinned or coated with alloy. The stranding is Class B. The conductors are grouped together with the help of non-hygroscopic fillers. 

Insulation:

Thermoplastic nylon insulation is resistant to abrasion and impact. Additionally, it has excellent tensile strength. The insulation is color-coded in black, white, or red, according to IEEE-45. 

Jacket:

A thermoplastic jacket that fits A11 requirements. A black PVC jacket can be added as a sheath for extra protection.
