IEEE802.3af PoE 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX (SC) Media Converter. The Planet FTP-802 is a 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX media converter designed to extend the distance of Ethernet network connections by converting electrical signals from twisted-pair cables to optical signals over fiber.

Features:

• Supports IEEE 802.3 10Base-T, IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX/100Base-FX, and IEEE 802.3x flow control standards.

• SC fiber connector for the 100Base-FX port.

• RJ45 connector for the 10/100Base-TX port.

• The 100Base-FX port supports distances up to 2 km with multi-mode fiber.
