Description:

The electrical downtilt of the antennas can now be controlled remotely. These RET (Remote Electrical Tilt) systems require special cables to connect the Master Control Unit (MCU) to the Remote Control Unit (RCU) which is located directly on the antenna or, in some cases, an internal component the antenna is. By using these systems, a network operator can adjust the slope without having to shut down the system. Specialist teams are also not required for this. In conjunction with the mechanical inclination, it is possible to set the exact antenna grid required for each radio cell.

There are also various customer-specific variants with different pin assignments, plug to plug, socket to socket and threadless.
