About :
The FiberManager System frame is based on a modular and totally integrated design which allows the user to expand and grow its fiber management system one frame, one module, one fiber termination at a time.
A designation label is provided with each module for identifying circuit connections. Factory-stubbed termination modules can also be ordered for both the left and the right side of the frame. Such modules are preterminated at the factory by fusion splicing or direct termination. Each assembly is stubbed with the cable length specified by the user and each one is thoroughly tested prior to shipment.
The module can feature splice holders for either mechanical or fusion splices. Bulkhead sleeves are mounted on separate adapters that snap into the module. Most popular connector types are compatible with the module, including the SC, FC and ST Compatible Connector.
The fiber termination module integrates connector mounting, splicing and fiber storage into a single assembly. There are two fiber termination modules: one for the left side of the fiber termination shelf and one for the right side. Fibers are brought into the under side of the module within buffer tubes, and fiber slack is coiled within the upper side of the module. Approximately 127 cm (50 in) of buffer tube slack and 127 cm (50 in) of 250 μm or 900 μm fiber can be stored in each module. Within the same module, each fiber is spliced to connectorized pigtails which are mounted on bulkhead sleeves.
