Applications:

NMWU stands for non-metallic wet underground direct burial wire. It is suitable for wet and dry conditions as long as the electrical cable is not exposed to mechanical damage. NMWU can be used as exposed wiring in complicated weather conditions. The electrical wire is perfect for direct earth burial as long as the protections required by authorities are met.

NMWU Copper Building Wire has a minimum temperature of - 25°C (except for three-conductor cables at -10°C) with suitable handling procedures. The maximum temperature of NMWU Copper Building Wire is estimated at 60°C. The wire has a 300V rating.

Conductors:

The wire has three copper conductors. The cables also have a bonding ground conductor. In cables sized between 10 AWG and 6 AWG, the bonding conductor is made of bare solid copper. 

Insulation:

The cable has cross-linked polyethylene NMD90 insulation available in black, white, or red colors.

Jacket:

An FT1 PVC black jacket protects the wire from sunlight and harsh weather conditions.
