Belden 3106A is a multi-conductor, multi-pair, shielded computer cable. It is designed for Enhanced Category 5 applications and is suitable for use in EIA RS-485 applications. Common applications of Belden 3106A include harsh environments, IIoT, factory or process automation, video, audio, data communication. 3106A cable is suitable for environments with signal interference.

Belden 3106A conductor is 24 AWG bare copper.

Insulation:

The pairs are insulated with a HDPE insulation, while each conductor is insulated individually with a PVC insulation.

Outer Jacket:

Outer jacket is made of PVC.

Shield:

Bi-Laminate (Alum+Poly) 100 % coverage tape plus 65% coverage tinned copper braid.
