750 MCM THHN THWN-2 Stranded Copper Building Wire

THHN THWN-2 Copper Building Wire Allowable Ampacity in Duct: 535

Application:

THHN stands for thermoplastic high heat-resistant nylon. Known for versatility and durability, it is the most common type of building cable. The double marking THHN /THWN-2 indicates that the electrical wire is suitable for wet and dry conditions equally (The letter "W" means that it is water-safe). Additionally, the cable is resistant to corrosion, excessive dryness, and the impact of chemicals. The building wire is rated 90 degrees Celsius in both wet and dry locations. The electrical wire is rated at 600 V.

Also Known As:

750 Copper wire, 750 building cable, 750 hook up wire, 750 conduit wire, 750 nylon wire, 750 construction cable, 750  thermoplastic-insulated copper wire, 750 THHN-PVC tray cable.

    Construction:

    Conductors:

THHN THWN-2 conductors are constructed of annealed soft copper that follows ASTM B3 and ASTM B8 standards.
