• The 23 AWG F/UTP Plenum Copper Solid Cable Cat 6 is designed for high-performance networking in plenum spaces, where strict fire safety standards must be met. This cable features a foil shielded twisted pair (F/UTP) design that offers robust protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, ensuring reliable data transmission. The solid copper conductors support speeds of up to 1 Gbps over distances of up to 100 meters.
• The plenum-rated jacket makes it safe for installation in air handling spaces, making it ideal for use in commercial buildings, data centers, and other environments where air circulation is critical.
• The cable is wrapped in an overall metallic shield for enhanced EMI protection and encased in a flame-retardant PVC (CMP) orange jacket, ensuring suitability for plenum spaces. For ease of installation, it comes in a 1000 ft (305 m) reel.
