The phone provides access to a comprehensive suite of unified communication features from Cisco's on-premises and hosted infrastructure platforms as well as third-party hosted call control. The IP Phone 8841 includes five programmable line keys that can be configured to support multiple directory numbers or call features such as speed dial. It supports the multicall-per-line feature, allowing users to handle multiple calls for each directory number, boosting productivity. Fixed function keys offer one-touch access to applications, messaging, directory, and frequently used calling features like hold/resume, transfer, and conference. Additionally, backlit acoustic keys provide flexibility for audio path selection and switching.
