About:
Corning high-density gel-free cables offer the ultimate combination of fiber density and ease-of-use in an indoor/ outdoor rated cable with its innovative Indoor/Outdoor Rocket Ribbon Riser Low Smoke Zero Halogen Cables. The cable’s efficient design helps maximize the use of critical duct space and enables easy routing into hardware by leveraging routable subunits which eliminate the need for additional furcation. A specially formulated flame retardant jacket allows this cable to be used in indoor general purpose horizontal and riser applications. The 6912-fiber cable consists of 16 routable subunits each containing 432 fibers leveraging 200 µm OD fibers. The 864, 1728, 2880, and 3456 cables are constructed with various combinations of 288f routable subunits leveraging 250 µm OD fibers. Each individual ribbon features a unique printed ID for fast, easy identification and efficient fiber splicing management.
