Type LS2SWAU is a 75-ohm multiconductor watertight, non-flexing electrical cable with an individual shield. LS2SWAU can be used in combat systems, interior connections, lighting, and power. The required shielding is 400 Hz. LS2SWA is a variation of the same electrical cable with overall braided aluminum armor.

Construction:

Conductor: 

A stranded bare copper conductor. Two conductors are twisted into a tape with the help of a binder tape. The shielded pairs are connected with fillers and binder tapes.

Insulation:

XLPE cross-linked polyethylene insulation is resistant to moisture, flame, heat, and mechanical impact.

Jacket:

A cross-linked polyolefin low-smoke zero-halogen jacket with a surface marking. It has excellent fire and UV resistance. The jacket has excellent ecological properties and is generally non-toxic in the event of a fire.

 Shield:

A braid tin-coated copper shield is insulated with two sealed polyester tapes.
