Tray Cable Low Smoke Zero Halogen Cable 600V BC
Applications:
Tray 600V Low Smoke Zero Halogen Cable is used in cable trays that call for low-smoke cables. Usually, these are the locations where the high heat is prevalent, and the danger of smoke or fire is apparent. Some of the common applications include cable trays on the board of the ship or in computer networking locations. PVC cables are not recommended for these applications because the danger of smoke is serious with them. The electrical cable is suitable for free-air applications, raceways, aerial and direct burial. It works equally well with moist and dry applications. The electrical cable is suitable for Class 1 Division 2 applications and for an exposed run in 3 or more conductors. The maximum recommended temperature is 90 C, and the voltage rating is 600 V.

Standards:
Meets UL 1277 requirements for Type TC cables having XHHW-2 conductors, cables are listed for direct burial and meet the IEEE 1202 and UL 1685. 70,000 Btu/hr flame test
Ampacity:
Based on not more than three conductors in raceway or cable or earth with an ambient temperature of 30ºC and a conductor temperature of 90ºC per NEC Table 310.16, the values have been derated where applicable

Class B stranded bare copper per ASTM B-3 and B-8
Insulation:
Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLP) per ICEA S-73-532 (NEMA WC57), meets UL 44 requirements for VW-1, Type XHHW-2 conductors. XLPE is organic synthetic insulation with high dielectric strength. It is lead-free, low-smoke and flame-retardant, and very promising in terms of durability.

Sunlight-resistant low smoke zero halogen thermoplastic per UL 1277, The LSZH Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket protects the cable from chemically and physically harsh conditions due to being lead-free, having sunlight-resistant, flame-retardant, and low smoke.
Overall Shield:
Aluminum-polymer tape providing 100% coverage with a flexible 7 strand tinned copper drain wire
