Description

Simply45® is the industry-leading brand for RJ45 modular plug innovation and performance solutions. *Our S45-1501P is the same as our S45-1500P.The Simply45® Pro-Series introduces the exclusive Cap45® (PATENT 10,811,831 B1). Cap45 is an isolation cap/bar that snaps onto the front of the pass-through RJ45 plug after termination, covering the exposed wire ends. Cap45® prevents electrical shorting in the RJ45 socket due to improperly trimmed wires or in device sockets that may not be 100% compliant. With Cap45, any electrical risks associated with exposed wire ends are now eliminated completely.

Features

Single Piece Design: The S45-1501P is a single-piece unshielded pass-through RJ45 modular plug for use with unshielded LAN cables. No-load bar required. Supports performance standards: ANSI/TIA 568.2-D for Cat6 and Cat6a; ISO/IEC 11801 Class E and Ea. Supports 10GBaseT performance applications over unshielded twisted pair cables

Solid and Stranded LAN Cables: The S45-1501P is ideal for most Cat5e UTP (unshielded twisted pair) solid 24 AWG LAN cables and stranded 28-26 AWG with wire conductor sizes 0.95mm – 1.05mm (0.037” – 0.041”). The S45-1500P and S45-1501P work great with most Cat6 and Cat5e stranded unshielded LAN cables used on patch cords/leads. If your stranded LAN cable has a larger diameter than 6.5mm (0.255”), then our S45-1600P or S45-1700P may be the right solution for you.

Color Tinted RJ45 Modular Plugs: The S45-1501P comes with a light blue tint for easy pass-through RJ45 modular plug identification. No more trouble identifying which plug is which. All Simply45® RJ45 modular plugs are color-coded for easy identification.


Color-Coded Jar Caps: The S45-1501P jar cap is Blue matching the color tint of the RJ45 mod plug. This makes it very easy to find to identify the items in your bag or kit. Saves time identifying the RJ45 modular plugs that you need to use.
