Description:

The BM300 is a medium-capacity bi-metallic steam trap engineered for applications such as drip trapping on superheated steam mains, steam supply lines, saturated steam lines, and steam tracing systems. Its bimetallic design allows condensate to be subcooled before discharge, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing steam loss. Built from forged carbon steel, the BM300 features a fully serviceable internal mechanism that can be repaired without removing the trap body from the pipeline—ensuring ease of maintenance and minimal downtime. Compact and lightweight, this thermostatic trap also offers excellent air discharge capability, enabling it to function as a low-capacity air vent. This is especially beneficial during system start-up, where rapid air purging helps steam fill the system quickly. The durable bi-metal element is highly resistant to water hammer, delivering reliable performance even in challenging environments. Additionally, the hardened plug is back-seated, acting as an internal check valve for added protection.
