Applications:
Copper SER cable is a service entrance cable used in residential, light commercial, and multi-unit buildings for panel feeders, subpanels, and branch circuits. It is rated for 600V and suitable for dry locations with an operating temperature of up to 90°C.
This 1/0-1/0-1/0-2 size is commonly used for:

The "1/0-1/0-1/0-2" designation means this SER cable has three 1/0 AWG phase conductors (hot wires) and one 2 AWG bare stranded copper ground conductor. The conductors are made of compact stranded annealed soft copper, cabled together with a reinforced binder tape.
Insulation:
The cable has cross-linked polyethylene type XHHW-2 insulation.
Jacket:
SE cable is jacketed with gray sunlight-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This dielectrically strong insulation is resistant to corrosion, abrasion, chemicals, and mechanical impact.
