A Schedule 40 PVC Pipe Coupling (Slip x Slip) is a straight connector designed to join two lengths of Schedule 40 PVC pipe in a secure, leak-resistant manner. Both ends of the coupling are smooth (slip fit), allowing pipes to be inserted and solvent-welded using PVC cement for a permanent bond.
These couplings are commonly used in plumbing, irrigation, water supply lines, and drainage systems where a reliable extension or repair of piping is required. Manufactured from high-quality PVC material, they offer excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and environmental stress.
Features :
• Designed for connecting or repairing Schedule 40 PVC pipes when future disassembly is not required.
• The simplest method to join two same-size pipe sections with smooth ends.
• Both pipe ends are solvent welded (glued) into the coupling to create a permanent, leak-resistant joint.
• Suitable for joining two straight pipe ends in a continuous run.
• All Schedule 40 fittings are NSF certified (NSF/ANSI 14 & 61), approved for use with potable (drinking) water systems.
• Maximum operating temperature: 140°F (60°C).
