MEGAPIC Category 5 cables provide an extension of the LAN beyond the premises. These cables are ideal for direct burial, underground and lashed aerial applications.

Filling Compound: 80°C ETPR (extended thermoplastic rubber)
Core Wrap: Non-hygroscopic dielectric tape
Shield: MEGAPIC-GF: ASP sheath consisting of an inner electrically continuous 
0.008 in polymer coated corrugated aluminum tape applied  with a gap and covered with an outer electrically continuous 0.006 in polymer coated corrugated steel tape applied with an overlap; interfaces of both tapes are flooded.
