18 AWG 8P Copper Shielded TC-ER Drain PVC/CPE VNTC Instrumentation Cable 600V
Application:
• The cables can be used in trays, conduit, and wireways. They are sunlight resistant and suitable for direct burial. They are available with a PVC or CPE jacket.
Scope:
• These 600 volt Instrumentation Cables are UL listed under Article 340 of the NEC and are suitable for cable tray use in Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations. The cable can be used in wet or dry locations and up to conductor temperatures of 90°C. The addition of nylon over the conductors provides excellent oil and gasoline protection.
• The flame properties meet or exceed the requirements of both the UL 70,000 BTU vertical tray flame test and the comparable IEEE-383 flame test. A 210,000 BTU rating is also available upon request.

Construction:
• Class B, stranded per ASTM B-3 and ASTM B-8. Conductors are type FN listed under UL 62. Triads are twisted with staggered lays to reduce crosstalk. Available in tinned copper upon request.
Primary insulation:
• 105°C rated PVC and nylon jacket
Shielding:
• Overall shield is helically applied with 100% coverage with a tinned copper drain wire.
Overall Jacket:
• PVC or CPE (90°C rated)
• Ripcord is applied under the jacket to facilitate stripping.
