Description
4/0 AWG THHN/THWN-2 stranded copper wire is rated for THHN (thermoplastic high heat-resistant nylon, dry) and THWN-2 (wet) applications. The "W" indicates water resistance, making it suitable for damp or wet environments when installed in conduit. It supports up to 600 volts and operates at temperatures up to 90°C. The flame-retardant PVC jacket resists sunlight, moisture, and chemicals, ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions. This wire is commonly used for large service entrances, feeders, and heavy-duty industrial machinery, and it is available in lengths of 25 ft, 50 ft, 100 ft, 250 ft, and 500 ft, as well as by the foot for custom orders.
What are the Applications of 4/0 AWG THHN Wire?
