Type MC-VC (MC PCS) Commercial Lighting Cable

Application:

MC-VC Commercial Lighting Cable is used for LED and Fluorescent dimming and SMART buildings, and is intended for use in non-shielded applications. MC-VC is suitable for use as branch circuits, feeders or lighting cable in both exposed and concealed environments or in cable trays in accordance with the applicable sections of the National Electrical Code.

Conductors:

• Solid soft drawn bare copper

Insulation:

•  Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) / nylon over coated type THHN/THWN insulation

Ground:

• Solid soft drawn bare copper with a green polyvinyl chloride (PVC) / nylon over coated type THHN/THWN insulation

Control Conductors:

Two 16AWG type TFN insulated conductors twisted together with an overall blue Polyvinylchloride jacket to isolate the control conductors from the power conductors.

Binding Tape:

The Control assembly, power conductors, and ground conductor are cabled together and securely wrapped with a mylar binding tape

Armor:

Aluminum interlocking armor with a purple stripe is applied over the cable assembly.
