TP20(IS-OS)LSETPOB-7 20 AWG 7 Pair IEEE 1580 Type Signal Cable Bronze Armored 300V
Allowable Ampacity for TP20(IS-OS)LSETPOB-7 20 AWG 7 Pair IEEE 1580 Type Signal Cable Bronze Armored 300V: 100 Amps
Applications:
This marine tech cable is used as a signal cable on board of ships and in offshore marine rigs. The voltage rating of the cable is 300 volts. The overall temperature rating of this cable is 90°C. The cable is used on fixed and floating platforms.
Also Known As:
Marine tech cable, marine shipboard cable, marine cable, shipboard cable, LSETPO signal cable, TP(IS-OS)LSETPOB signal cable, aluminum armored cable, bronze armored cable, signal cable, halogen-free cable, 300V signal cable
Standards:
- UL (Underwriters Laboratories) as Marine Shipboard Cable according to international norms described in IEEE Std 1580-2001.
- UL E319439
- ABS Type Certificate No.10-HS592905-PDA
- 70,000 BTU/Hr IEEE-1202, and CSA FT4 Vertical Tray Cable Flame Tests
- IEEE Std 1580-2001 as signal cable types LSETPO and LSEL
Construction:
Conductor:
Soft annealed bare copper per ASTM B 3 and B 8. The stranding is Class C. Two cable conductors are twisted together to form a pair. Upon request, tinned copper conductor insulation or class B can be provided.
Insulation:
The insulation of the cable is type LSE cross-linked EPR. It is halogen-free and low-smoke, offering superior protection in case of a fire. All the cable components are held together with the help of non-hygroscopic fillers and polyester binder tape.
Jacket:
There are two jacket options: TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) and L (thermosetting cross-linked polyolefin). Both of these jackets are flame-retardant, halogen-free, and low-smoke. The subtle differences are merely identical to the overall differences between thermoplastic and thermoset jackets.
Shielding:
The shielding is full-coverage aluminum/polyester tape and a copper drain wire that reflects the size of the conductor. The shielding is optional. Both component and overall shielding are available.
Armor:
Optional bronze or aluminum armor is available upon request.
