Description

The Simply45® S45-B002 – Integrated Snagless Strain Reliefs lock into the RJ45 modular plug so that both the plug and strain relief can be permanently attached to the Simply45® RJ45 modular plug during the crimping cycle. The Simply45® S45-B002 strain reliefs extend the useful life of the RJ45 modular plug termination and should be used with all terminations. It is also Fast and Easy to Use.

Features

Prolongs Life of the Termination. The S45-B002 takes the strain off the terminated plug. When you do not use a strain relief, any contact with the plug or cable puts strain directly on the terminated plug. Over time this could cause one or more of the RJ45 pins to become loose. If a pin becomes loose it will create electrical resistance. Resistance creates heat. This could then cause performance problems or damage to the device socket.

Professional Finish. In addition to protecting the termination and extending the operating life of the link/channel, the S45-B002 strain reliefs also provide a professional finish to your terminated RJ45.

Maintains Correct Bend Radius of the Termination. The Simply45® S45 B002 Integrated Strain Reliefs protect the terminated RJ45 from damage during the life of the link or channel.  Maintaining industry standards bend radius is important for maximizing the link/channel performance.

Trimmable. The S45-B002 strain reliefs are trimmable so that you can adjust the bend radius if necessary to work in very tight installations.

Clear Color. The S45-B002 strain reliefs come in a clear color so that it easily works with all of the Simply45 RJ45 modular plugs indicated above.

Snagless Design. The S45-B002 strain reliefs are a snagless design. This prevents broken latch tabs on the RJ45 modular plugs.
