DESCRIPTION :
RC HI-980 Specialty Optical Fiber is a thin-coat, high-performance optical fiber designed for applications requiring excellent consistency, optical performance, and compact packaging. Manufactured using Corning’s patented OVD process, it offers precise geometry control, high numerical aperture, and a high core refractive index.
The fiber features a dual acrylate coating for enhanced mechanical protection and resistance to micro-induced attenuation. Its 80 µm diameter makes it suitable for miniature packaging and space-constrained optical systems.
