Shipboard Cable LSTPNW-1.5 22 AWG 1.5 Pair Non Watertight Std Uncoated 300V
Applications:
LSTPNW electrical cables are non-watertight and are designed for mission-critical non-flexing applications. Typical uses of the electrical cable include but are not limited to interconnect audio, telephone, call bells, announcing and alarm systems, interior communication, and weapon-control on the board of the ship as long as the voltage rating is not exceeded. The cable is rated at 300 volts.

Standards:
- • M24643/52
- • MIL-I-45208A
- • MIL-STD-790
Construction:
Conductor:
A stranded copper conductor with high conductivity. Conductors are cabled consecutively with a binder tape. Two conductors (three for size 1) are cabled to form a pair.
Insulation:
Ethylene or propylene rubber (EPR) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. EPR has high dielectric strength and an excellent resistance to ozone and weather. XLPE is resistant to moisture, flame, heat, and mechanical impact.
Jacket:
A cross-linked polyolefin low-smoke zero-halogen jacket with a surface marking. It has excellent fire and UV resistance. The jacket has excellent ecological properties and is generally non-toxic in the event of a fire.
Shield:
A braided tin-coated copper shield.
