Applications:
Type LSMNW/A electrical cables are designed for power, lighting, or weapon-control systems. There are armored and non-armored varieties of the cable. Do not use if circuit parameters call for another specific type of electrical cable. The high voltage rating of this cable is 1000 volts. LSMNW/A is to be used only within one compartment or totally within two contiguous compartments. Do not use this cable in a watertight deck or watertight bulkhead below flooding water level II (FWL-II).

Construction:
Conductor:
A stranded bare copper conductor with an opaque white separator. The conductors are cabled consecutively with fillers and a binder tape. The cable is identified through a standard identification code by Method 1.
Insulation:
A cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation is resistant to moisture, flame, heat, and mechanical impact.
Jacket:
A cross-linked polyolefin low-smoke zero-halogen jacket with a surface marking. It has excellent fire and UV resistance. The jacket has excellent ecological properties and is generally non-toxic in the event of a fire.
