The IR850L-220 from Pelco is a 220m Semi-Covert Infrared LED Illuminator designed to provide powerful and flexible illumination for surveillance applications. Featuring an Interchangeable Diffuser System (IDS), this illuminator allows users to quickly adjust the angle of illumination to match the specific field of view requirements. With the factory-installed IDS, the illuminator offers a 35° angle of illumination, while the standard IDS (included) provides a 60° angle. Additionally, the optional LENSPKL-LED wide-angle lens pack (sold separately) can increase the angle to 80° or 120° for broader coverage. The IDS employs holographic light-diffusing technology, producing a precise beam pattern that directs light where it’s needed most, enhancing illumination distances and minimizing overexposure of foreground objects. This results in clearer, more effective surveillance in low-light environments. The IR850L-220 also features an LED lifetime management system, ensuring long-term reliability and consistent optical output, even under extended use. To simplify monitoring and maintenance, the LED status feedback system provides instant updates on the operational performance of the illuminator, making commissioning and regular checks straightforward. For added convenience, the IR850L-220 can be paired with an optional RC-LED remote control, which offers advanced features to enable quick and safe setup from ground level, eliminating the need for direct access to the illuminator.
