Scotch® Tape 49 has a dead soft aluminum backing that offers the reflection of both heat and light. This tape with an acrylic adhesive offers optimized adherence. It is designed to provide EMI and moisture protection on communications cable splices. The tape is suitable for a general-purpose heat reflector and heat dissipater. This tape has a very low moisture vapor transmission rate that makes it a good sealant. UL Listed.
