Built for Windows platforms, VideoXpert offers an intuitive interface, making it easy for operators to view and manage video footage effectively. Available as either a custom hardware solution or software distribution, VideoXpert integrates smoothly with existing VMS infrastructures. It supports flexible storage configurations, including RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD, to meet requirements for data retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance. The channel-based licensing model allows users to optimize costs by purchasing only the capacity they need. With support for both unicast and multicast transmission, VideoXpert adapts seamlessly to different network setups. Power 3 Series Server models include Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, enabling administrators to configure and monitor servers remotely, minimizing the need for on-site access. iDRAC also supports SNMP for hardware monitoring and email alerts, enhancing proactive management. VideoXpert Professional includes VxToolbox, a user-friendly Windows application for easy network configuration of servers and cameras, whether locally or remotely. VxPro also offers predefined roles for standard surveillance tasks, streamlining user creation and permission assignments. The VxOpsCenter client software provides a clean interface requiring minimal training and supports multi-system access, allowing one workstation to control multiple servers. Additionally, VxOpsCenter offers modular plugins, adding functionality such as informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and an integrated mapping tool for enhanced situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert includes a full API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, enabling integration with third-party systems. Administrators can also migrate existing Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, extending the use of current infrastructure and gaining access to advanced features. VideoXpert Professional can also leverage Digital Sentry storage as a recording solution, preserving archived video and providing access to VideoXpert’s enhanced capabilities.
