Built for Windows platforms, it provides a quick installation process and an intuitive interface, allowing operators to efficiently view and manage video footage. Available as both a tailored hardware solution and software distribution, VideoXpert integrates seamlessly with existing VMS infrastructure. It offers flexible storage options, including RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD configurations, to support retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance requirements. The channel-based licensing model ensures users only pay for the capacity they need, optimizing costs. Supporting both unicast and multicast transmission modes, VideoXpert adapts easily to various network environments. Power 3 Series Server models feature Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, enabling administrators to configure and monitor servers remotely, minimizing the need for physical access. iDRAC also supports SNMP-based alerts and hardware monitoring for proactive management. VxToolbox, included with VideoXpert Professional, is a Windows-based application for easy network configuration of servers and cameras, whether locally or remotely. VxPro includes predefined roles that streamline user setup and permission assignments, simplifying the process for standard surveillance tasks. The VxOpsCenter client software provides an easy-to-use interface with minimal training requirements, supporting multi-system access so a single workstation can control multiple servers. VxOpsCenter also includes modular plugins for enhanced functionality, such as informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and a built-in mapping tool for improved situational awareness. VideoXpert is built on open standards, offering a comprehensive API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, enabling third-party integration with its capabilities. Administrators can also migrate existing Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, repurposing current infrastructure and benefiting from VideoXpert’s advanced features. VideoXpert Professional additionally supports Digital Sentry storage as a recording solution, preserving archived video and enabling access to VideoXpert’s expanded functionality.
