VideoXpert is an all-in-one video management system (VMS) designed for efficient setup and powerful monitoring, ideal for small to medium-sized applications. Built for Windows platforms, VideoXpert provides a user-friendly interface, enabling operators to manage video footage easily. It’s available in custom hardware solutions or as a software distribution, making it compatible with existing VMS infrastructures. With options for RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD storage configurations, VideoXpert ensures flexibility in data retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance. Its channel-based licensing model allows users to pay only for the capacity they need, optimizing cost efficiency. The system supports both unicast and multicast transmission modes, adapting seamlessly to various network setups. The Power 3 Series Server models include Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, enabling administrators to configure and manage VideoXpert servers remotely. iDRAC allows hardware monitoring and SNMP-based email alerts, reducing the need for physical access. Included with VideoXpert Professional, VxToolbox is an intuitive Windows application for configuring entire networks of servers and cameras, whether locally or remotely. VxPro offers predefined roles, streamlining user creation and permissions setup for standard surveillance tasks. VxOpsCenter client software provides an easy-to-use interface with minimal training required, supporting multi-system access to allow a single workstation to manage multiple servers. VxOpsCenter also includes modular plugins for extended functionality, such as informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), and analytics (Pelco Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites), as well as a built-in mapping tool for enhanced situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert includes a complete API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, allowing third-party systems to integrate seamlessly with its capabilities. Administrators can migrate existing Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, repurposing infrastructure while gaining VideoXpert’s advanced features. VideoXpert Professional also supports Digital Sentry storage hardware as recording solutions, preserving previously archived video and enabling access to VideoXpert’s expanded feature set.
