Designed for Windows platforms, VideoXpert is intuitive and easy to set up, giving operators seamless control over video feeds. Available as custom hardware or software, it integrates effortlessly with existing VMS infrastructures, offering configurable storage options in RAID 6, RAID 5, or JBOD to meet diverse retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance needs. Channel-based licensing provides a scalable, cost-efficient solution, allowing users to pay only for the channels they require. Power 3 Series Server models come with Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage support, enabling administrators to manage servers remotely, minimizing physical access. With iDRAC, administrators can monitor hardware and receive SNMP-based alerts via email, ensuring proactive system oversight. VideoXpert Professional includes the VxToolbox application, a Windows-based tool that simplifies network configuration for servers and cameras, whether managed locally or remotely. Predefined roles designed for common surveillance tasks streamline user creation and permission assignment. The VxOpsCenter client software provides a user-friendly interface that requires minimal training, supporting multi-system access so that a single workstation can control multiple servers. This scalability is enhanced by modular plugins, which extend VxOpsCenter's functionality to include informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and an integrated mapping tool, all enhancing situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert offers a comprehensive API, SDK, and dedicated technical support for third-party system integrations. Administrators can migrate Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, allowing continued use of existing infrastructure while gaining access to VideoXpert's advanced features. Additionally, Digital Sentry storage hardware can be repurposed for recording, preserving archived video and ensuring compatibility with VideoXpert Professional’s feature set.
