VideoXpert is an integrated video management system (VMS) designed as a standalone solution for seamless setup and reliable monitoring in small to medium-sized applications. Built for Windows platforms, it offers a user-friendly interface that simplifies video management for operators. Available in both hardware and software versions, VideoXpert integrates with existing VMS infrastructures and offers storage configurations in RAID 6, RAID 5, or JBOD, providing flexibility for retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance requirements. With a channel-based licensing model, users can purchase just the capacity they need, optimizing costs. Power 3 Series Server models include Dell’s iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and OpenManage tools, enabling remote configuration and management, minimizing the need for physical server access. iDRAC also supports SNMP, allowing hardware monitoring and email alerts. VideoXpert Professional includes VxToolbox, an intuitive Windows-based application that simplifies configuring servers and cameras across a network, locally or remotely. With pre-configured roles for standard surveillance operations, VxPro streamlines user setup and permission assignments. The VxOpsCenter client software, also included, features a straightforward interface that requires little training, allowing operators to manage VideoXpert systems efficiently. Supporting multi-system access, VxOpsCenter enables a single workstation to control multiple servers, scaling seamlessly for larger applications. Modular plugins extend VxOpsCenter's functionality, adding features such as informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), Pelco’s Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced Analytics Suites, and a built-in mapping tool for enhanced situational awareness. Built on open standards, VideoXpert offers a comprehensive API, SDK, and dedicated technical support, allowing third-party manufacturers to develop integrations with VideoXpert’s features. Administrators can transition from Digital Sentry hardware to VideoXpert Professional, repurposing existing equipment while benefiting from VideoXpert’s advanced capabilities. Additionally, VideoXpert Professional can utilize Digital Sentry storage hardware, preserving archived video while providing access to new VideoXpert Professional features.
