The SN5540 is an ideal solution for All-IP applications requiring the integration of legacy analog equipment that cannot be replaced, into a modern Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) environment. For fully All-IP networks, the SmartNode serves as a service termination point for the enterprise, featuring integrated broadband access termination for G.SHDSL, VDSL, ADSL, or Fiber SFP.

SmartNode eSBC with 4 FXO ports, supports 4 VoIP or SIP-to-SIP calls (SIP B2B UA) upgradeable to a maximum of 200, includes 2 transcoded SIP calls (upgradeable to a maximum of 4), SIP-TLS, SRTP, 2x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1x USB port, and external UI power (100–240 VAC) for NA/EU regions.
